PS3 is on its way to selling over 100 million console systems this generation. PS3 is averaging 10 million consoles per year. 10 *10 = 100 million consoles sold. The peaks and the lows will balance out for a 10 million console sales per year over the 10 year lifespan of the PS3.
Peak year will be 2010 or 2011: expect 14 or 15 million console systems to be sold in those two years.
