I was bullied up until about say, 7th or 8th grade. I pulled a knife on a kid who always gave me shit. I was left alone from that point on. Sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire.

Sometimes fire isn't the best solution to fight fire. Have you ever pondered what would have happened if the kid grabbed the knife and used it against you? You never know how anyone would react in a situation like that.

If you don't stand up for yourself, then you will only suffer. The best way to deal with a bully is confront him. You can't go to the schools any more. Telling on someone only makes the issue even worse, you need to fight what believe in.

You're right on the confront your fears part, but going to extremes sometimes can turn against you.

For example, during high school, even though I was a fat kid and used glasses, I was never bullied, mainly because I never let myself get bullied. Whenever I had to confront someone about attitudes against me, I did it face to face, and if shit came to happen, I woud take care of it not going to extremes that would only end up in regret for any part involved.
