I use OtherOS. Do you? And what for?

Totally agree with you ;), this choice should have never existed, they shoudnt remove something some of their customers is currently enjoying. But even worst, the risk is far from justifying this either. Its very very low considering blu ray rips, internet bandwith (to downloads whole game) will refrain most person to hacking on PS3 + theres no hack at the moment that let you do anything bad for Sony. Slim doesnt even have "otherOS" anymore. At least if the risk would be very important I would understand, but its not the case. They would be better taking the risk to loose a bit of money from hack then shitting on the customers that use the "otherOS" function. You have my simpathy, I would be as mad as you if I would be using "otherOS".
