OP - yes I use other OS. I use it to run emulators on my console as well as my media server like you said. Fuck Sony for removing it.

Im a Sony fan but even if I dont use "otherOS" I cant agree with a business practice like this. Please note that we didnt pay for PSN and they will not force you to remove "otherOS" tho. I agree with you on everything else. Even if I dont use it, im somewhat dissapointed to loose that feature to keep PSN. Also surprise theres a lot of people justifying this as easily.

Okay true, they aren't holding a gun to my head screaming "DO IT!".

But it's a choice between that and playing my games online...a choice which I have to make...and one that should have never even existed.
