Mystery pic is mysterious. If Frankie claims it's not them.. and it's a mystery to me.. who/what then!?

ManCannon is a Bungie employee. Frankie he is referring to is a 343 employee. So this isn't something from MS or Bungie. Wonder what the hell it can be.

I'm just skeptical of everything right now, were too close to April fools for my comfort.

I listened through the entire podcast btw, very interesting. They make it seem as though if u have any shield at all, even a sliver then a melee wont kill you, I'm not sure if thats any different from the situation now. The fact that they have fall damage makes me hopeful that they will be bringing back momentum based melee's.

Whats a momentum based melee?  Is it where you do more damage if your running top speed and melee somone.

In Halo 1 and 2 if you jump melee'd you did more damage than if you ran and melee'd someone which subsequently did more damage than meleeing someone standing still. This mechanic though is completely absent in Halo 3. A lot of good player for example would go around corners if they were being chased and time their jumps so that they would be landing right as their opponent rounded the corner doing massive damage to them and getting the upper hand cause the enemy was too hasty. Thats just one small example too, putting the mechanic in allows for so much more depth in close range fighting than the current hand to hand combat system Halo 3 has now.

@Jagged

Nice pics but you missed one or two spartan ones from the french article. Like the one where the spartan in kneeling down and his shield is exploding.
