The thing is, I bought mine for when I don't want to work on the cluster (I hate Fedora) AND to play games when I don't feel like working. Now if I want to play any new games which come out -- without nuking my gentoo partition -- I need to A) buy another PS3 or B) carefully wait for Geohot's cracked Firmware updates. |
Just thought I might say, for legal reason, if they really do remove "other OS" through updating on PSN. They will NEVER do a mandatory update to play a game that would remove "other OS". Youll still be able to play all new games without removing "other OS" feature. So dont worry about people playing games, they will not be ask a mandatory update that would uninstall "otherOS". But surely you can forget DLC and patches. I agree with you tho, it sucks, they shouldnt do that.
