I agree with everything GooseGaws said except that there were only 2 good Plasma brands. I find Samsung to be the best as far as reliability and price for quality. I've got 2 Samsung plasmas in my apartment (1 42" and 1 20") and I couldn't be happier with them. Also, plasma picture quality is overall much better than LCD unless you are in a room with a very excessive amount of sunlight.
