if there is anything Microsoft needs to make "slim" of, it is that god-awful power brick.

other than that, the size of xbox is not a issue at all.

The HDD currently means a Slim 360 with one would have to put it on top. If it went on the side or back of a Slim, it wouldnt change in size. Because the HDD is effectively the same size as the height of the 360 if laid down. Essentially it wouldn't be Slimmed with one. They would have to get rid of it for a Slim design.

no, xbox is in an 'arm race' with PS3 in term of HDD size. currently topping out at 250. I don't see them ever going to flash memory completely. It makes no sense to their Netflex committments.

It doesnt have to be flash memory. Essentially with a lift on the 30gb limit, you could attach any portable HDD USB. I have a 420gb portable HDD I bought for £45. A Slim 360 will not be possible with using the existing 360 HDD. It would have to sit ugly on top of the machine, or else remain the same width. There is little benefit of having 30gb flash memory USB for 360 as it stands now. Only real benefit is taking saves to your friends. I really believe M$ will have limitless USB GB size with the release of Slim.
