Okay guys!
Quick question now. I have a choice between a 42'' Vizio at 720p for 1000 dollars. I'm willing to spend more, so this is probably my least favorite.
The two I'm now most keen on are two Phillips televisions -- a 42'' LCD 1080p, and a 50'' Plasma 720p.
The question I have is now obvious; should I get a 42 inch with slightly higher resolution, or a 50'' with slightly lower? I'm personally leaning towards the slightly lower, as I personally noticed virtually no difference between the two displays at the store I was at, and I watched for a while. If this is the wrong choice, please correct me!
Suggestions?
Edit: Also, is there any important difference between Plasma and LCD?
