Yeah, it gets almost complete praise right now, but that's because it's the breakout title for the series (or the one that really brings it into popularity). I don't think it'll get massive piles of hate (at least not as much as Call of Duty) until one of those iterations get an aggregate score thats higher than other rival/high quality FPS' (like Halo/CoD). I could be wrong here but i don't really remember anyone hating on the CoD franchise until the acclaimed Modern Warfare was released and everybody fell in love with it.
