I'm baffled by this post. Did you play the original game on consoles or the Arcade? It was one of the greatest racers ever.

No i've never played it before, and I don't think I want to either.  Looks kinda boring.

You have strong feelings for a game you never played. Fans will enjoy it and you can complain about how it is boring. Everybody wins!
