Actually, to be honest I remember having a hard time with the original PS2 version. I died maybe 5 or 6 times and while it kind of took away from the climatic ending of finishing Zeus off in one shot I still laughed it off each time Zeus killed Kratos. And with the new HD port I actually thought they gave you more time to press the buttons because I got it first try this time. I remember the input time in the original being too fast... almost to the point where you had to guess.
I really like the way they handle QTE in GOWIII though. You can see the white highlight on the edge of the screen in your peripherals so you can press the corresponding button while still watching the action in the center of the screen. Part 1 & 2 did it forced you to look down away from the action to read the button.
