world of warcraft is the only game i've seen drastically alter peoples lives: lost jobs, broken relationships, death. actually, everquest probably did the same thing but it wasn't as popular as world of warcraft became. all other games pale in comparison imo. certainly the only game i've ever become addicted to. thank god my computer broke or i'd probably be really messed up by now.
