| The Ghost of RubangB said: Love it. That's years before color film. In fact, several people invented color film, and every time they'd take it to a studio to sell the tech, they got rejected. Same with sound film too. Both got held back for years and years because the studios were so dumb. Many of the early experimental sound/color/3-D films are now lost, destroyed, or partially destroyed. And now everybody's basically frothing at the mouth over new tech. The real revolution in gaming and film that I'm waiting for is binaural recording. A bunch of industry jerks have been holding that tech back for over a hundred years, because everybody needs to wear headphones for it to work. It's okay to make everybody in the room wear stupid glasses, but not regular headphones. |
