Your right the Wii was a BIG comeback from Nintendo. I also think theres nothing bigger than that in the video games industry. Started at the most popular brand with Nintendo and Super-Nintendo. Last brand with the gamecube. And then boum, back to the most popular brand by an advance of 2/3.

Indeed. In 3 short years, Wii sold more than Nintendo's (up until then) best-selling console, NES, did in its entire lifetime. And NES was sold from its release in 1983 to 2003, when it was officially discontinued. A mind-boggling 20 years. Furthermore, Wii surpassed its predecessor GameCube's lifetime sales in little over a year. Like I said, there's no topping that.

lol thats sure. But wait, its not a comeback until they sell 10 X more than PS3 and Xbox 360 combine lololol. jk
