I came to the Grandia party via PS and only owned a DS so I couldn't play any GBC games I am not sure if either one of those actually has any grandia battle system even. That is why they are not included. I hope that clarifies it.

IMHO  there will be even less people who have played a GBC game if they have not seen or layed the one PS1 and 3 PS2 outings.

Parallel Trippers (GBC) has a similar battle system. It still has the IP gauge, but its a lot simpler. Since its on GBC, there are no movements and so, so you just wait for the action. Kinda makes it like ATB.

As for Digital Museum, aside from mini-games, it uses same battle system as Grandia 1.

Both were Japan only though.
