"No, it's cruel of you to close insane tax loopholes!"

Really? Really?

If you want to argue about the level of taxation, that's another topic, but this rule change looks unassailable from where I'm sitting.

[edit:  "where I'm sitting" = "I have read the following paragraph"
["Even though the federal subsidies were already tax free, employers could still write them off on their income taxes, in addition to writing off their own contribution. The new law, signed by Obama on Tuesday, maintains the subsidy as a tax-free incentive to employers, but prohibits them from taking it as a deduction."]

It was a poorly written law, but it was the framework that AT&T was working under. In a time like this, is the right answer to say "give us a billion dollars"?How many jobs do you think this will cost?

What's more important in America right now, health care reform, or creating jobs?
