Well, there were No Sphere Grid, No Aeons, No Magic challenges on FFX, so I guess there's bound to be some on FFXIII as well :P

But there was no ATB and so many different items and accessories to help people survive.

You're limited to really one (or is two?) accessories and enemies do tons of damage. Barthandelus' Thantosian Laughter was powerful as hell, its difficult to survive that.

You would need sentinels, and a LOT of Fortisol, Aegisol, and Deceptisol for NC.

You can have a maximum of four accesories. It would pretty much play like a No Dressphere challenge on FFX-2. For me, Via Infinito level 40 boss was impossible with that challenge >_<

In NCU (No Crystarium Usage) you can only have two accessories (which I believe you start out with as # of slots).

It's best saved for HP and damage reduction methinks.
