I think the PS controllers are just not very ergonomic, though not terrible. The N64 analog stick did have issues after a while which sucked.
Judging from most of what is being posted, I would say that most people's experience stems back only the past 3 gens. That being the case, you guys are really missing out on some terrible controllers...
