Correct me if I am wrong, but it's profits that measure how successful and rich a company is, not how much money it can hoard up. I mean hell, if it's just about cash in laying around Microsoft can just cut its revenues to a minimum for a few quarters, where their current revenues will not uffer so much with Win7 and all, and they can completely leave Apple in the dust.

If I didn't know better, I'd say that the iPad will fail miserably since it doesn't cater to any crowd. But seeing how Apple fans will buy anything Steve Jobs shits out, even if its value is indeed shit, I can't argue confidently about whether it will succeed or not. I certainly hope not, since it does less tan what an iPhone can do, and infinitely less than a notebook, and all that for more money than buying an iPhone and a netbook.

Except people had no choice at all with the iPhone, and that's how Apple turned into assholes and why it's a closed program. I rememberseeing how Apple's business plan is just like Harley Davidson's back in the day. If you have a shit product then just make it seem a luxury item by restricting supply and raising the prices. Worked great for their PC line.

In the time I have been here I have seen many of your threads, and they are all about the health care, how you are moving, how something is going bankrupt, or how hings are going down the shitter, all spread over dozens of threads. I guess I was wrong and you just like to whine about things.

???

When has Apple ever been short on PC supply? And just because you don't get it, doesn't make the iPhone or iPad shit.

I have told this story before, so I will just give the short version. I was looking for a GPS tagging system for my honeymoon. I have a digital SLR camera (the one in my avatar), and I wanted to geotag the photos I took with it. After a few hours online, I had googled and found a product, found some reviews, found a place to buy it ($150), entered all my personal info, and was about to hit "buy" and wait the 4 days for it to ship, when I thought it myself "I wonder if there is something on the phone that can do that?"

I picked up the phone, hit the apps button, searched for geotag, found 3 apps, clicked on the one with the most stars, read a few reviews, clicked the "buy" button (for $4), it downloaded, and then I could geotag apps.

If the first place I thought to look was my phone, from the time I wanted a capability to the time I had that capability, would have been 3 minutes, not 2 hours + 4 days for delivery.

This is the power of the app store, and why it's the most significant thing in the computer industry in years. It's why everyone has an app store today.

The phone is just a phone. Dozens of phones out there are better. The app store is the story. It's why the iPad will be a huge success. It's all the same power with a screen that can allow apps to be so much more.

And I don't give a shit about Apple. I by products, not companies. When someone makes a better app store, I will buy whatever I need to be a part of that store.

This unjustified hatred of an electronics company that has done nothing but provide tools to people who wish to buy them, says a lot more about you, and not much about Apple.
