Mace Windu? The original Starwars had Sir Alec Guinness as Jedi, the new trilogy has Samuel Jackson and Ewan McGregor. This comparison alone shows why the new trilogy did fail. 
Somehow I can't stand Samuel el Jackson he always plays such an annoying wise-ass. The best movie scene ever was in Deep Blue Sea, where he gives a motivational speech and you see yourself having him for the rest of the movie giving good advice and pushing other people and in this moment the shark comes out of the water and eats him. One of my all-time favorites.
