You've been on these forums long enough to have seen people say these things. Don't pretend that some PS3 fanboys havn't been using this argument as ammo. As for the original thread, I give it a 2/10 (it gets +2 bonus because of the kittens), its got no links to examples and even though I believe he tried to start a decent conversation, we all knew it was going to end up like this.
