I love SNES controllers. You can just squeeze them to death while playing all the run and jump platformers, and they never break (at least mine haven't).
The best controller of all time would probably be the Gamecube controller. It's really comfortable, and the buttons are all placed perfectly. I still can't decide how I feel about the Wii remote/Nunchuck. I've had my Wii for a long time, but sometimes I still get confused on where things are. They are very comfortable though.
