You really don't need to own the winner this Generation as it was for the PS2 to play the best games.
Financially, It's been a a disaster for Sony, tons of lost opportunity ( PSP) and the Amazing first party games.
MS made the worst hardware ever but ended up fixing it, had a huge advantage game wise and 3rd party support wise. They have taking advantage of what they do best and will benefit greatly. No matter what, it's been a good Generation for MS.
Nintendo made the most, sold the most and included no one else. They are the best business i have seen run, maybe Apple might be close. They know what their market want and they give it to them. Their system sell Nintendo games mostly and that's the way they like it. They might win the next 2 Generation by huge margins.
Sony : Listen to your fans. Just Listen.
