It's also another way of protecting against "pirates" trying to sue, as that wouldn't have bought it at a retailer for its full price. But used wouldn't mean that because technically when Gamestop sells used games they are a pawn shop and that's different from a normal retailer. So yes by putting that on the back, the custmoer is informed that it was a limited offer for early buyers of the game at full price from a retailer. |
