To be honest, I'm not that interested in black & white films, as I'm just a random cinephile, but I don't see myself studying cinema history or anything like that later on. No doubt some of the stories might be great in old movies, but I'm sure the filming techniques and the way actors play and stuff would turn me off quickly. It's like with very old RPGs, I have a hard time enjoying them because of how Squaresoft spoiled me with CGI cutscenes and great production values in their later games.
And damn, so many movies to watch, so little time! I'll try to watch all the movies listed in this thread at least once though.
