I dunno? Why do people say "I will never buy a ps3 or any sony product because sony BMG had DRM in some music cds which I never bought"?

People like to hate on sony.

Out fo all the bullshit reasons you could have come up with that people use not to buy SONY you hit upon the one that is very legit and a really good reason why people shouldn't buy SONY.

OT:

Natal is indeed a copy of eyetoy as much as the Move is a copy of the Wii, which is a whole lot. However the Natal project has more functionality than the Move has over the Wii.

I actually refuse to buy Nintendo because of Pearl Harbor.

Every company fucks up, that is no reason to ban everything they are involved with. Especially when SONY BMG is independant from the other SONY Companies.

Internet explorer was so bad and hackable that I now refuse to buy a blutooth MS mouse. That's the same argument too.

Did you sriosuly somehow link Nintendo to Pearl Harbor? Can you sep away from the conversation and read that sentence of yours again without laughing?

To contast that, your Microsoft example is also extremely laughable. They did not actively make IE hackable, it was a passive thing.

SONY basically infected PCs with a virus. They actively made it so.

If you can't see those distinctions you are beyong my help and I am done with you.

They did not infect the computer with a virus. They used spyware which was then hacked by outside sources as a trojan to infect computers. The spyware in itself did nothing except track what music you listened to and such. It was the passive effects that made it so bad IIRC.

EDIT: I forgot it was a rootkit. But still, the biggest problem wasn't the rootkit itself, but the door it left open to hackers.

As far as the connections go, it is just as laughable that you connect Sony BMG with SCE. They are two distinct groups. As distinct as Nintendo is from Japan, or IE is from hardware.
