This is a huge part of the problem. If you call something a fad and then some years later makes the "almost" same thing then of course you will hear some complaints. It's hypocricy, and most people dislike it.

I haven't seen Microsoft diss Eyetoy for example. Had they done so I wouldn't be surprised if they had gotten a backlash from Natal. People ought to know that Sony brought this on themselves and if anyone wants to be angry, they ought to be angry about Sony for creating this situation where they look terrible or they ought to look at themselves and ask why the hell they are defending it.
