Most people would just say 'I'm going to play some Nintendo', even if they'd play games on another console.  But the Playstation brand is still strong, too, although it's lost a LOT of its recognition in recent years. However, besides Nintendo, I think 'Wii' is a word that's becoming more and more synonymous with videogaming, at least among the general public, excluding hardcore gamers. |
I think they said nintendo all the time because the system was actually called nintendo (NES)
