Is Nintendo now the name people most associate most with videogames?

Hmm. I suppose it is, though perhaps not as strongly as back in the early 90's, when Nintendo was synonymous with videogames. Most people would just say 'I'm going to play some Nintendo', even if they'd play games on another console.
But the Playstation brand is still strong, too, although it's lost a LOT of its recognition in recent years.
However, besides Nintendo, I think 'Wii' is a word that's becoming more and more synonymous with videogaming, at least among the general public, excluding hardcore gamers.
