I doubt either honestly. I mean maybe it'd have gotten more attention from platform evangelists, but it's arguable if that sort of hype would've translated to real sales.
For release timeframe, it's pretty obvious they pushed T6 back to give SC4 more time in the limelight. In fact, I'm a little surprised no one's pointed this out yet, there's no way they would've launched SC4 and T6 in the same year...
