Why put inspired and copy in the same choice option. Its 2 very different thing. Its easy to prove what you wanna prove when you play with words. If you wanted this to be the last talk about it, it wasnt made with the correct question and choice of answers.

Because I wanted people to fall into either a yes/no category. Either the PS Move was inspired or a copy and it doesn't matter where on the scale you consider it to be or it is not.

funny one Squilliam, but I don't think the folks have got the joke yet. at least I hope it's a joke >_>   <_<

you cannot answer Yes or No to "Move is a copy/inspired by Wii or Move ins't a copy/inspired by Wii poll"

it's like saying: which do you prefer; cake or cheese. answer Yes or No.

don't make sense lol

Yeah it didnt make sense, no correct answer there. Either answers would be lying and denying. Its obvious that Sony has been interested in motion for a couple of years, with eyetoy and other products they showed. They also obviously didnt have the guts to release, push it and market it well. I dont understand how some people react and analyze thing.

You dont even know how the guy from Nintendo who thoughts of motion control and decided to suggest them in a focus group had the idea. Maybe its after seeing the eyetoy minigame... probably not, but still, it could be a possibility. Shouting about copycat and/or being mad about others who dont think Sony copied Nintendo, is ignorance just as much as someone who would say that Nintendo success didnt encourage and inspire Sony to walk in the same path. Also, as I said many times already, motion control as a technology wasnt an innovation to begin with. The idea of bringing motion control with an home console as mandatory was tho. This success as inpired Sony to also do it in their own way.

On another note, I dont remember who said to look at the pic where you see the 2 controllers beside each other to prove its a copy. But all those pics usually conveniently remove the eyetoy from the pic. Eyetoy is mandatory for move you know... anyway, game controller are bound to look similar... customers asked for motion controller, considering Nintendo doesnt own the technology were Sony suppose to not answer this demand?  if Nintendo would have invented motion controller it would be different, but its not the case. Inspiration and answering consumers demand is not copying, the simple fact one need a mandatory camera shows that anyway.
