Bayonetta was a very pleasant sort of difficult, but not the most difficult I'd played this generation. Ninja Gaiden II was also tough in parts (the gauntlet in the mountains was nuts), but I trained enough in Ninja Gaiden Black that it didn't bother me much.
I'll give that to Radiant Dawn. Damn you, Fire Emblem!
