I feel exactly how you do. I've had too many games played on me but I hate to say it but they work. Sometimes in extreme instances I think it's the only way.
I also know that in these situations nobody ever takes anybody elses advice unless it happens to reaffirm what they were going to do anyway. This is good in my opinion because it is the honest approach. If you're going to lose em you're going to lose em the right way. The way in which you have no regrets later. You know that you did what you felt was right at the time.
So ultimately Honesty is the best policy but it's also the hardest thing you can do.
