Not bad...has to be first week sales because not a chance on first day, but way, way more LTD...
300,000 altogether the first week (disc & online together--250,000 + 50,000). Actually, that would be INCREDIBLE considering Japan only has an install base of 1.48 million...that would be 20.3% of ps3 owners in Japan buying it in the first week.
To put in perspective...that would be like Super Mario Galaxy selling 802,000 copies its first week (20.3% @ current install base....not when it was actually released). And it actually only sold around 261,000 its first week with a much higher install base.
I hope it does very well, but I think these figures are a little high...I look for more like 150,000-160,000 altogether, but I hope I'm wrong.
Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.
Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)
