Yes its a copy, a blatant ripoff.
However I doubt SONY will lose much sleep over their latest piece of "innovation"
Fact is Nintendo has showed SONY up, as not perhaps being as impervious to external factors as they liked to think.
The Veteran has dethroned the young pretender, but SONY will learn from this !
