Jesse Divnich has a history of making outrageous statements.
He was the one who stated that brand awareness was greater than game quality at the 2009 Montreal summit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Divnich
Of course, without statements like that, EEDAR would not be in the news.
Also, remember where these statements originated -- Industry Gamers. The site does not like the Wii. And Divinch falls into that trap talking about how fitness games declined in February, failing to take into account the lack of hardware!
I cannot find anything that gives a clue as to how old Divinch is -- but from the looks of his photo and the lack of any reference to him that is more than 3 years old, chances are he is under 30 (probably around 25). If that is the case, he just does not get it because he is so wedded to the model of gaming found in the PS3 and Xbox 360.
IMHO, the PS Move cannot succeed if all it does is provide an HD version of the Wii experience. That is not going to cause someone to spend $100.

I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
