Gran Turismo 5 was scheduled to be released in 2008. Gran Turismo 5: Prologue was released instead in 2008. It is now late March 2010 and there is no release date for 2010. That is not a good sign at all.
The OP is just like a lot of disgruntled Gran Turismo fans. They have doubts about whether or not Gran Turismo 5 will be released in 2010. 2011 may be the next possibility or it may never be released.
Killzone 3, Resistance 3, Final Fantasy XIII Versus and Little Big Planet 2 may all launch before Gran Turismo 5 is launched.
