For me it is the original Xbox controller. Reasons are its size, the horrible d-pad and, what may only be true for me, the shape of the buttons. I really prefer them to be flat and not round, I am never sure if I really press them with those buttons.
The playstation controllers are average imo. I don't like their control sticks, they feel very unprecise compared with Nintendo's (both 3D consoles) at least for me. I also dislike that the d-pad is actually only four buttons, but that is a minor thing. That the control stick is not in the main position is a bigger problem though.
I haven't handled much more controllers, so that's it more or less. The 360 controller btw makes a lot of things right imo, but the shape of the buttons is still the same as on the original Xbox controller.
