The Wii too comment was unnecessary, but anyways I agree with him unless natal and move show something friggen crazy.

It already has shown some crazy tech already tho....and we are not even at E3 yet!

It would be funny to see if someone just say hey he is alright...he tells the truth but in return and bash on MS and Sony PR :D Hypocracy at it's best imo...they are all equally bad

It's one thing to be shown tech demos, it's another to be shown actual software. Sony's GDC wasn't impressive, and the impressions show that Sony has a lot of work to do before they release Move.

Ugh yeah GDC and Engadget are TECH DEMO places targeted at game developers and tech enthusists...games shown were incomplete pre alpha versions....so wait until E3 to judge the games pls

And again, Move has shown it can do so much already that the Wii can't do, if your gonna argue on the capabilities then your just biased or malinformed imo

What can't the Wii do other than the rather pointless (for me at least) augmented reality? Nothing that I've seen shows any other 'improvement'

Go read up on it then :) I'm not gonna list all the capabilities shown here....(for your reference there is an official Move thread that has some nice info)

As for being pointless :D I HAVE played the wii....it can use some augmented reality when your playing with yoru friends (in games that require a lto of movement) Just as I have seen

Why not give me three things that it can do better than the Wii?

facial recognition, tracking

import every day object's into the software on the fly: IE show the EYETOY an object and it can be input directly on the fly into the game.

position tracking in 3d space of a human body.

So the augmented reality stuff I mentioned already? Basically what the eyetoy was doing previously? What about what it can do better than the Wii? I didn't ask what it could do that the Wii has not attempted, mainly because I'm not interested in the camera stuff. I'm more interested in the motion gubbins and I remain sceptical about improvements there.

you do know with the playstation Move need's the EYETOY to work. you cannot even use the controller with out they Eyetoy. Its like a mocap, your trying to remove what make's the Move the move..

that's like saying remove the sensor bar off of the Nintendo Wii..without the motion sensor bar the Wiimote would not work.

I do understand that is how move works a lot of the time, probably not all though.

Quite a few games work without the sensor bar as it only detects the cursor and helps orientate the motion plus now and again.
