If anyone has a right to classify a ame, its the COMPANY WHO PUBLISHED/DEVELOPED it. they call it an RPG.  I would agree it is a Tactical RPG (TRPG) under the heading of a JRPG.

So: RPG <----JRPG<----TRPG.  Done

No they can't. If they call it a TPS, it wouldn't be correct.

RPG is the main genre. EVERY WRPG, SRPG or JRPG are RPGs, so this part of the quote tells us nothing.

That guy who wrote the quote sees the game more like a hybrid between SRPG and Action game btw.

Since this is Sega's official webpage, the "guy" who wrote it is SEGA (in a sense).  And he calls it a role-playing game with tactical and action elements.

This entire argument once did not matter.  On the NES, how many WRPGs were there?  Not many.  Then you just called them RPGs (or console RPGs).  Most of the western style RPGs were on the computer (thus Computer RPGs).  Once they moved to the consoles (and JRPGs never took off on the computer), there HAD to be some distinction between the two.  That is why JPRG and WRPG just make sense.
