We're not questioning whether it's an RPG of some kind (mostly), it's more about whether it's a JRPG or not, and even what a JRPG really is.
Things are getting silly with all of these genres and sub-genres and sub-sub-genres.
It's a Turn-based Tactical Shooter JRPG maybe? That's a bit much.
