The Gladius is the best approach if you're going into a more offensive role with Lightning, but it has a too high EXP cost.

I levelled the BlazeFire Gun, which was simpler and faster to get to the required level (26) to get to Tier 2. 

BlazeEdge is the most even weapon in the game, it's attack power is only 100 behind a fully upgraded Gladius... But it's magic is 400 greater than a fully upgraded Gladius.

I think i will upgrade that on my second playthrough actually.

Light's magic sucks anyway. It's sole purpose for me is building chains.

I prefer offense for Light and Fang, their accessories boost their Str both by 107 total.

Sure, she's not the best at Magic... But shes a good secondary healer, and very good when used with Ravager building the Stagger.

light actually has the 2nd best natural mag in the game. second only to Hope and equal to Vanille. Hers is just less because Hope and vanille get more from their weapons
