Thanks for posting the vids. Awesome stuff, especially the picture manipulation. When devs get there coding up to snuff for release, this controller could prove very interesting.

@ theprof00

I found a very interesting post at psu.com.

I guess Sony doesn't copy as much as some may think. Well, not unless they are copying themselves. In truth, the Move was the next step to where Sony was going with motion controls. They had already filed a patent for a wand-like device in Dec. of '04. I'm guessing either the decline in interest for the Eyetoy or the launch of the PS3 less than 2 yrs away was the cause for them to not follow through. Now, I will give credit to Nintendo, though. If they hadn't come along and proven that motion control could be huge, Sony may not have invested in theirs. But Sony is far from a copycat.  We'll just leave that to MS.

wow i just realized that i own a lot of the Eye Toy games.

Eye Toy Play 1 / 2 / 3 (they're fun if you feel retarded)

AntiGrav (The best one)

Operation Spy (mehhhh but the only one with voice commands)

and some of the games i have , had Eye Toy functions , Jackie Chan Adventures and Harry Potter : Prisoner of Azkaban.

Shh!  The EyeToy never existed.  ;-D

It is kinda funny how Nintendo used Play and Sports, too.  Of course I won't say they copied, just drew inspiration from.  BTW, what in the world did Jackie Chan and Prisoner of Azkaban use it for?

Arcad-ish multiplayer Games

on Harry Potter one , you first have your picture taken and that hat thing on the movie will choose a "House" for you (it recognize's your facial expression)

after that each house gets points from players being better (maximum players is 8 or 14 players if i remember right)

these are two of the games

on Jackie Chan (btw this game is G.R.E.A.T also the cell shading is so well done)

the eyetoy lets you play these mini games that will get you EXP points (can't find youtube videos =s ) like kungfu juggling and such, this game has so many mini games its like Yakuza / Shenmue kinda game , also had an addicting "Triple-Triad" like  Card Game, if you got a PS2 you should get it.
