I don't want anyone to enter the console 'race'. In fact, I want someone to drop out. In my opinion, developers use to pay more attention to the actual games back when there was only two major consoles. And it was easier to be a quote 'console gamer' then because you only needed to focus on one or two consoles that would get half or more of the best games. Now in order to truly enjoy the console experience, you either have to buy all three or 'choose a side' and argue about how your decision is superior.
They say competition creates better diversity and better quality. But in many ways, its not doing that for the gaming industry. Its just forcing more companies to be bought up and the 'big three' to fight each other to the point of stupidity.
