Yeah, but you couldn't aim with the second analog stick in the old REz

because the camera wasn't behind you.

 

RE4 was behind the back and was set up the same way...

We are talking about the "old" RE

Well considering it was my comment that started it, we're talking about you just discovering now that it was intentional :P It seemed as if you've never experiened it before, thats all I meant. I've played every RE besides the wii ones.
