He is talking about interesting funny members who made the forum/site a joy to visit. (I guess =p.).
Well how bigger forums how less you can have possible mature discussions and how less you want to become a part of a discussion. It is really not fun to see a discussion going on but first need to reast the 100 posts and while reading them see that their again 20 new posts.
