Thanks for posting the vids. Awesome stuff, especially the picture manipulation. When devs get there coding up to snuff for release, this controller could prove very interesting.

@ theprof00

I found a very interesting post at psu.com.

I guess Sony doesn't copy as much as some may think. Well, not unless they are copying themselves. In truth, the Move was the next step to where Sony was going with motion controls. They had already filed a patent for a wand-like device in Dec. of '04. I'm guessing either the decline in interest for the Eyetoy or the launch of the PS3 less than 2 yrs away was the cause for them to not follow through. Now, I will give credit to Nintendo, though. If they hadn't come along and proven that motion control could be huge, Sony may not have invested in theirs. But Sony is far from a copycat.  We'll just leave that to MS.

wow i just realized that i own a lot of the Eye Toy games.

Eye Toy Play 1 / 2 / 3 (they're fun if you feel retarded)

AntiGrav (The best one)

Operation Spy (mehhhh but the only one with voice commands)

and some of the games i have , had Eye Toy functions , Jackie Chan Adventures and Harry Potter : Prisoner of Azkaban.
