This totally sounds like: "When we get cross-game chat in, and PS2 downloads, we will set up a premium service along side our free service."
Which is something I'm not sure I like. IMO, cross-game chat should be free. They can make out premium services for other features, but please, cross-game chat... free. It would suck if half the PSN and my friends did not have this feature.
