This gen, Sony: Uncharted franchise, Killzone 2, Infamous, Heavy Rain, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank franchise, Motorstorm, Little Big Planet, Flower, God of War 3 and Resistance. I don't own 'em all (and didn't name 'em all) but these are the series that I care about. Some of them were sort of "meh" when I got them (ie: Heavenly Sword, inFamous) but still, you gotta respect them.
Microsoft has: Alan Wake (unproven--hope it doesn't suck), Halo franchise, Gears of War franchise, Forza franchise, Kameo, Viva Pinata franchise, Perfect Dark, Fable Il, Lost Odyssey, and Too Human. Again, I don't own 'em all (and didn't list all of them) but these are the ones I personally care about. Some of them were "meh" (Too Human--from what I hear. I still want it.). Some were awesome.
Nintendo has: Zelda franchise, Mario 2D/3D, Mario Kart, Metroid franchise, Wario Ware, Smash Bros., Wii Sports/Play/Fit, Animal Crossing, Punch Out!!, and Advance Wars. Some rock. Okay. All of them rock.
Now, with 3rd party support, I'd have to place the HD consoles well above the Wii. But strictly based on 1st/2nd party published games, and the games that I wanna play, it goes: Nintendo, Microsoft, and then Sony. Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2 are amongst the best experiences I've had this year but for my time, money, and consistent satisfaction, I still place them 3rd.
Your opinion may vary.
